Happy Weekend, everyone!

Our first week back at the studio has been a wildly productive one — on camera, off camera, and in all the little corners where creativity likes to hide. Here’s the quick (but cozy) rundown:

🌱 On Camera

The Chill Little Tree Arrives

Our biggest news this week: meet The Chill Little Tree (pictured above)!
He’s officially replacing the old neon-outlined logo and becoming the friendly face of our brand going forward — overlays, merch, screens, you name it. He’ll even stand in for me on stream. Absolute icon.

Dick Charming & Da Mage Mockups

We kicked off character development for Dick Charming, our star of Da Mage’s Rift, and showed the early mockup for Da Mage himself.
Both are ridiculously funny, and we’ll be continuing their design on Tuesday.

Overlay Shenanigans

Sunday and Wednesday were spent riding the Struggle Bus trying to land on a final overlay direction.
Now that The Chill Little Tree has claimed his throne, we finally have a clear path forward — and we’re aiming to finish everything this week.

🎧 Off Camera

Six Lofi Albums (Yes… Six)

Monday was a full-on creative explosion. I ended up writing six complete lofi albums plus a mountain of B-sides — over 100 songs in a single day. These will fuel stream backgrounds and your own creative work vibes for months.

Four Albums Mastered

As of this morning, Coffee & Canvas, Late Morning Flow, Afternoon Drive, and Evening Unwind are fully mastered and already playing on stream.
The remaining two should be wrapped by week’s end.

Lofi Cover Art (and Animation!)

Cover art for the lofi series is underway — think a digital-world desk + easel, looking out over The Rift.
This will also be our first animated music background, and we’ll share progress on stream as we go!

New Radio Show Scripts

We drafted six new shorts this week across Sal’s Word of the Day and Squirrel’s Weather, with more coming for Squirrel’s Fact of the Day.
We’re nearly done scripting Season 1, and recording should start in the next couple of weeks.

Da Mage’s Rift Script Progress

The Dev Team has been on fire. We wrote 9+ pages just for the intro of the game this week (yes, that’s a lot), plus several partial drafts for later sections.
The comedy level? Increasing rapidly.

🎨 Coming Up This Week

Our regular schedule returns, with plenty of chances to hang out, learn Affinity, and see the new systems take shape:

Sun 2–5pm ET: Full technical test + overlay build with The Chill Little Tree
Tue 2–5pm: Dick Charming character design (continued)
Wed 2–5pm: Live Stream Overlays
Fri 2–5pm: Live Stream Overlays

If we finish the overlays early, we’ll roll straight into album cover design, which is the next big push to get this new music out to you.
